BABY

Our story

Born from a mum's worst night

When my son was a baby, he suffered febrile convulsions — a terrifying wake-up call that made finding safe, comfortable clothing suddenly feel like the most important thing in the world.

That's when I discovered merino: natural, breathable, gentle on the most sensitive skin, and brilliant at regulating little bodies' temperatures. I was so taken with it that I started Little Flock of Horrors to share it with other parents.

We're still a small family business, and I answer every email personally. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Questions? We've got answers

Everything you might be wondering before you treat your little one to merino.

Is merino itchy on little ones?

Not ours. Merino fibres are far finer than regular wool, so they feel soft and smooth against even the most sensitive baby skin — no scratch, no fuss.

How do I wash and care for it?

Merino is wonderfully low-maintenance. A gentle wool-cycle wash and a flat dry is all it needs. It naturally resists odour, so it needs washing far less often than cotton — more wears, less laundry.

Will it shrink?

As long as you stick to a cool, gentle wash and avoid the dryer, your pieces will keep their shape and size beautifully.

How does the sizing run?

Our pieces are designed with a little room to grow. If your child is between sizes, we'd suggest sizing up — full sizing details are on every product page.

What does "sample stock" mean?

Sample stock pieces are a more affordable way to get our merino. Colours and print thickness may vary slightly from full-priced items, and these are sold as final sale. Everything else is the same lovely quality.

Why is merino worth it for kids?

It regulates temperature (warm in winter, breathable in summer), it's naturally odour-resistant, and it's tough enough to be handed down. One merino layer does the work of several cotton ones.

What's your returns policy?

We want you and your little one to love it. Full-priced items can be returned within our standard window — see our returns page for the details. (Sample and outlet items are final sale.)
